Hotel Rooms for the NYS DOCCS Albany Training Academy Staff

Background
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) is seeking to procure hotel accommodations for staff members attending the Albany Training Academy. The goal of this contract is to provide lodging for approximately 15-25 staff members during their training sessions, which are scheduled bi-weekly from September through November.

Work Details
The successful contractor will provide lodging for 25 days and 25 nights for approximately 15-25 DOCCS Training Academy staff members. The required accommodations include:

1. Up to 25 standard King or two queen size bed hotel rooms, single occupancy, with individual beds, required for 4 to 5 nights per week.
2. Room facilities must be clean and in good repair with fully functional bathrooms (shower, toilet, and sink).
3. The rates must comply with the United States General Services Administration (GSA) rates for lodging in the relevant New York State County.
4. Parking must be on-site, and any charges must be included in the quote.
5. No meals are required as part of the room rate.

Period of Performance
The term of the agreement will be five weeks, from September 13, 2026, to November 20, 2026.

Place of Performance
The hotel accommodations must be located within 20 miles of the Albany Training Academy.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:

1. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) certification is encouraged but not mandated (SDVOB Goal: 0%).
2. Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) contracting goals are set at MBE Goal: 0% and WBE Goal: 0%.
3. Bidders must submit a completed Quote Form and a Procurement Lobbying Law Bidder/Proposer Disclosure form as part of their quote submission.
