The State University of New York (SUNY) is seeking to procure fire alarm inspection services for its System Administration headquarters located at 353 Broadway, Albany, New York. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and operational readiness of fire alarm systems within the facility.
Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for the following services:
1. Inspect all fire alarms;
2. Send a minimum of 2 people for all inspections;
3. Conduct inspections quarterly (4 times a year);
4. Perform semi-annual visual inspections and cleaning of all fire alarm initiating devices and alarm system components;
5. Conduct annual physical testing of all fire alarm initiating devices and alarm system components;
6. Ensure personnel are Notifier Factory Trained;
7. Maintain a valid NYS Fire Alarm License;
8. Hold NICET certification.
Period of Performance
The contract period is three years, starting from the date of award.
