Background
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking to contract for Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, Remedial Repairs, Emergency Service Calls, and Repairs statewide. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards for fire safety across various OPWDD sites.

Work Details
The contract is divided into two main lots: Lot 1 focuses on Fire Alarm Systems and Lot 2 on Fire Sprinkler Systems. Each lot is further divided into two sub-lots based on geographic location:

- **Lot 1A**: New York City and Long Island - Services include inspection, testing, maintenance, remedial repairs, emergency service calls, and repairs for fire alarm systems in Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, and Suffolk counties.
- **Lot 1B**: Rest of State - Similar services for all other New York State counties.
- **Lot 2A**: New York City and Long Island - Services for fire sprinkler systems in the same counties as Lot 1A.
- **Lot 2B**: Rest of State - Similar services for all other New York State counties.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various OPWDD sites located throughout New York State including Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, Suffolk counties and other counties across the state.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must meet specific set-aside goals including a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) goal of 6%, a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal of 17%, and a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) goal of 13%. Additionally, contractors must complete the New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire if anticipated expenditures exceed $100,000.
