Facility Wide Roof Gutter Replacement

The Long Island State Veterans Home intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, which is up to $125,000.00, for the replacement and installation of all building 6 box gutters, downspouts, leader straps and associated hardware, pursuant to New York State ( NYS ) Education Law 355(5)(a) which authorizes purchases without a formal competitive process in certain circumstances, including purchases from NYS small businesses, from business certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the NYS Executive Law, and if applicable, from businesses selling commodities or technology that are recycled or remanufactured. In the event of any product is changed or discontinued, the Home's Project Management Office shall be notified immediately to discuss other building materials or procurement options. Materials must be in stock and ready to ship. The Home will accept deliveries in phases on an as needed basis as the project progresses.

All work on this project is subject to New York State Prevailing Wages and Certified Payroll submission as per the New York State Department of Labor, PRC #2023010819.
