Facility Management & Maintenance Service- NYC Office

Background
The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Facility Management & Maintenance Services for its NYC Office. The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective management and maintenance of the building's physical plant, which aligns with NYSIF's mission to support the operational needs of its facilities.

Work Details
The services to be provided under this contract include:
- Managing and maintaining the building’s physical plant
- Overseeing mechanical systems
- Performing snow removal
- Providing landscaping services
- Conducting janitorial services
- Executing minor repairs
- Implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period as outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP), with proposals due on June 5, 2026, by 2:00 p.m. EST.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the New York State Insurance Fund's office located in New York City.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders are encouraged to meet the state requirements for Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (M/WBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB). The SDVOB goal is set at 6.00%, while total MWBE goals are established at 30.00%. Bidders must comply with specific communication restrictions during the procurement process as per State Finance Law § 139-j and § 139-k.
