Dormer & Window Restorations at Crailo State Historic Site

Background
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is issuing a solicitation for the Dormer & Window Restorations at Crailo State Historic Site located in Rensselaer, New York. The mission of OPRHP is to manage and preserve the state's parks and historic sites, ensuring they are accessible and enjoyable for the public. The goal of this contract is to restore wood windows, dormers, and related carpentry and painting work at the historic site.

Work Details
The work consists of restoration services including:
1) Restoration of wood windows;
2) Restoration of dormers;
3) Related carpentry work;
4) Painting services;
5) Alternate work includes window areaway stone wall restorations and cover replacements;
6) Painting of window shutter hardware.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for 260 days following approval by the New York State Comptroller's office.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Crailo State Historic Site, located at 9 1/2 Riverside Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144.

Bidder Requirements
There are specific participation goals: minority-owned business enterprise (MBE) at 22%, women-owned business enterprise (WBE) at 8%, and service-disabled veteran-owned business (SDVOB) at 6%. Bidders must also register with the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement prior to bidding on public work projects covered under Article 8 of Labor Law.
