Design-Build Services For 13Kv Substation Relocation At The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge

Work Requested:
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA), through the MTA Construction and Development Company (MTA C&D), are seeking a qualified Design-Builder to provide comprehensive design-build services for the design, construction, and relocation of a 13kV substation at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.

Requesting Agency:
This solicitation is issued by the MTA and TBTA, acting through MTA C&D.

Background:
MTA C&D will conduct a two-step Request for Proposals (RFP) process. The first step is a Request for Qualification (RFQ), where selected respondents will be invited to participate in the second step, the RFP. The selected Design-Builder will enter into a Design-Build Contract at the end of the RFP process. Please note, this contract is not federally funded.

Contract Requirements:

• Design, construction, and relocation of a 13kV substation at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.
• Participation in a two-step procurement process (RFQ followed by RFP for shortlisted firms).
• Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to validate vendor information.
• A MTA Bidder/Supplier Number is required to process document requests. Register at the MTA Vendor Portal: www.mymta.info/vendor.
