Description

The University at Buffalo intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) (a), which is up to $125,000, for tData Domain Support Renewal. A sealed bid will not be held. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodity/product or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Campus contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice.

Background
The University at Buffalo is seeking to award a contract for Data Domain Support Renewal under its discretionary authority, as permitted by NYS Education Law ยง355 (5) (a).
The total value of the contract is up to $125,000.
The goal of this contract is to ensure continued support and maintenance for Data Domain systems used by the university.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following products and services:
- 4-Hour 7x24 Technical Support and Assistance for ES40 SHELF ST SAS FLD DD6400 (Part# 886-6463) with serial numbers DCSYCJ3, GCSYCJ3, JCSYCJ3, and HCSYCJ3.
- 4-Hour 7x24 Onsite Service for ES40 SHELF ST SAS FLD DD6400 (Part# 886-6461) with the same serial numbers.
- ProSupport services for CONTROLLER DD6400 NFS CIFS including:
- 1 Year ProSupport DD Cloud Tier Software Support and Maintenance (Part# 868-5798).
- 1 Year Pro Support Capacity Bundle 1TB Raw Software Support and Maintenance (Part# 868-5783).
- Additional ProSupport services for CONTROLLER OD6400 NFS CIFS including technical support, operating environment software support, and cloud tier software support.
All services are scheduled to start on December 13, 2025, or December 14, 2025, depending on the specific item.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of one year, starting from December 13, 2025, and ending on December 13, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the University at Buffalo located in Erie County.

Bidder Requirements
There are no Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside requirements.
