Contractor Prequalification Applications

Background
The Town of North Hempstead Community Development Agency (CDA) is accepting Contractor Prequalification Applications from building trade contractors, specialty trade contractors, general contractors, and builders for various projects in the Town of North Hempstead.

Storefront Projects ($5,000 - $120,000+ each): Designers, fabricators, and installers of storefront signs, awnings, window films; masonry restoration; roof/parapet replacements; electricians; plumbers; carpentry (wood and metal); glass and panelized systems; EIFS and stucco; window replacements; general contractors specializing in retail facades and storefront renovations.

2. Home Repair Projects ($2,000 - $15,000+ each) and Home Improvements Projects ($15,000 - $60,000+ each): Specialty contractors for lead/asbestos/mold abatement; roofers; heating specialists; electricians; plumbers; accessibility installations (ramps/lifts); siding; windows; carpentry; flooring; masonry work; kitchens/bathrooms renovations.

3. Public Facilities Repair and Improvement Projects ($5,000 - $150,000+ each): Lead/asbestos abatement; roofing; masonry restoration; mechanical/plumbing work; site work including hardscaping and landscaping.

4. New Affordable Home Construction and Substantial Home Renovations (1-5 homes at a time) ($200,000 - $400,000+ each): General contractors and builders including design-build contractors.
