Work Requested (Scope of Contract):

The State University of New York College at Cortland is seeking sealed proposals for Term Construction Contracts (Project No. 00881) for time and material type work in the following trades:

Trades with a total contract value not to exceed $1,000,000:

• Concrete/Flatwork (PRC# 2026011811)
• Environmental Abatement (PRC# 2026011821)
• Masonry/Repointing (PRC# 2026011823)
• Roofing (PRC# 2026011825)
• Site Work (PRC# 2026011826)

Trades with a total contract value not to exceed $500,000:

• Flooring (PRC# 2026011875)
• Landscaping (PRC# 2026011827)
• Raquette Lake General Contractor (PRC# 2026011829) for work at the SUNY Cortland campus in Raquette Lake, NY

Who is Requesting:

The solicitation is issued by the State University of New York College at Cortland.

Background on the Contract:

This solicitation covers term contracts for construction services to be performed on a time and material basis for a variety of trades as listed above. The contracts are intended to address ongoing and as-needed construction and maintenance needs at the SUNY Cortland campus and, for the Raquette Lake General Contractor, at the Raquette Lake campus.

Contract Requirements:

Bidders must submit two original executed copies of the Bid Form per trade.
All attachments specified in the Project Manual must be included.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the appropriate information.

Instructions on Submission:

Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 PM Local Time on May 21, 2026.
Bids may be mailed or delivered to:
  - SUNY Cortland, Planning, Design & Construction, Attn: Kristi Hughston, 219 Whitaker Hall, Cortland, NY 13045
  - Or mailed via USPS to: SUNY Cortland, Attn: Kristi Hughston, PO Box 2000, Cortland, NY 13045
If mailing, allow sufficient time for internal campus mail delivery.
Bids will be publicly opened at Whitaker Hall, Room 201, 4 Pashley Drive, Cortland NY 13045.
During the opening, the following will be read aloud for each proposal:

• Name of contractor
• Trade for which they are bidding
• Markup percentages entered on the Bid Form

Additional Information:

SUNY Cortland will review all bids to verify the accuracy of minimum qualifications and ensure all required documents are submitted. Bidders will be formally notified of the official results in writing.
