Description

The City of Beacon, NY (the City ) hereby issues this request for proposals ( RFP ) from qualified contractors for providing professional cleaning services for (i) six (6) public restrooms, (ii) the Polhill Visitor's Center facility, and (iii) the Settlement Camp Park Theater facility located in the City of Beacon Parks.

Sealed proposals must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Friday March 21, 2025 at the City of Beacon, 1 Municipal Plaza Suite 1, Beacon, New York 12508.

Background
The City of Beacon, NY, is seeking qualified contractors to provide professional cleaning services for various facilities within the City of Beacon Parks.
The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of public restrooms and visitor facilities, enhancing the experience for residents and visitors alike.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for cleaning services at the following locations:
1. **Park Restrooms (six total)**:
- Memorial Park Restrooms: Two restrooms (350 sq ft each) with five toilets, two urinals, and three sinks; cleaned seven days a week from May 1 to October 31.
- Green Street Park Restrooms: Two restrooms (200 sq ft each) with three toilets, one urinal, and two sinks; cleaned seven days a week from May 1 to October 31.
- South Ave Park Restrooms: Two new restrooms (200 sq ft each) with two toilets and two sinks; cleaned from July 1 to October 31 in 2025 and from May 1 to October 31 in subsequent years.
- Cleaning includes trash collection, resupplying dispensers, disinfecting fixtures, sweeping/mopping floors, and locking doors post-cleaning.
2. **Polhill Visitor’s Center**: Approximately 500 sq ft facility with one restroom; cleaned once a week from April 1 to October 31.

3. **Settlement Camp Park Theater Building**: Approximately 1700 sq ft facility; one annual deep cleaning in early May and twelve event cleanings during June to October.

Period of Performance
The contract term is three years with an option for one additional three-year renewal.
Services will be performed according to the specified schedules for each facility.

The services will be performed at various locations within the City of Beacon Parks in Beacon, NY.
