Background
The Capital District DDSO, a state agency, is seeking bids for the interior and exterior painting of a facility located at 2200 Troy-Schenectady Road, Niskayuna, NY 12309. This procurement is being conducted under the agency's discretionary purchasing authority. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facility is maintained in a professional manner, adhering to specific standards and requirements outlined in the project scope.

Work Details
The project involves interior painting of approximately 2518 sq ft and exterior painting of the entire house, including all decks, railings, and ramps. The contractor will provide all necessary labor and materials to complete the work according to the provided floor plan and color scheme.

Specific tasks include:
- Interior: Painting all doors, door trim, windows, window trim, crown molding, baseboards, walls, ceilings (including garages and basements if sheet rocked), stairs (including basement stairs). All surfaces must be prepared by removing old paint and ensuring they are clean before painting.
- Exterior: Painting or staining all decks, ramps, railings; outdoor metal railings; wooden doors and trim; wooden columns; porches; wooden siding; sheds or fencing as required. Each area will receive one coat of primer and two coats of finish color paint. All paints used must be standard colors from Passonno Paint unless otherwise approved.

Period of Performance
The work is to be completed within 90 days of contract award unless modified.

The contract will be performed at 2200 Troy-Schenectady Road, Niskayuna NY 12309.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors/sub-contractors must be registered with NYS DOL to submit a quote. A copy of the registration certificate must accompany the quote. Additionally, contractors must comply with prevailing wage laws as this is a NYS Public Works Project. The awarded vendor will also need to provide certificates of Liability, Automotive, Worker’s Compensation and Disability Insurance.
