Background
The Capital District DDSO, part of the OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities), is seeking to procure interior and exterior painting services for a facility located at 126 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY. The goal of this contract is to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the facility through professional painting services, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor and materials necessary for the interior and exterior painting of the facility, which includes approximately 5075 square feet of interior space and all decks, railings, and ramps. Specific tasks include:
- Painting all doors, door trim, windows, window trim, crown molding, baseboards, chair moldings, walls, ceilings, garage (if sheet rocked), basement (if sheet rocked), stairs (including basement stairs).
- Using Passonno Paint color patterns or other approved brands.
- Applying one coat of primer and two coats of finish color paint to each area.
- Ensuring surfaces are clean and prepared before painting (removing old paint, filling holes/cracks).
- Cleaning up the site daily and securing materials.
- Scheduling a quality control inspection upon completion.

Period of Performance
The work is to be completed within 90 days from the award date unless modified.

Place of Performance
126 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY 12081. The project may involve work in various NYS counties as specified.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors/sub-contractors must be registered with NYS Department of Labor. A copy of the registration certificate must accompany the quote. Additionally, contractors must comply with prevailing wage laws as this is a public works project.
