Background
The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking to procure Catholic Services at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center, located at 102 Rivers Edge Road, New York, NY 10035. The purpose of this contract is to provide spiritual care and counseling services to patients within the facility, aligning with OMH's mission to support mental health and wellness.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Catholic care and spiritual counseling services which may include:
- Support and therapeutic interventions regarding religious issues
- Input and support to treatment teams
- Weekend worship services
- Visitation of patient families
- Anointing of the sick including emergencies and communion service
- Worship/prayer services on special religious holidays not coinciding with regular Catholic holy days
- Adult education on mutually acceptable topics
- Funeral/memorial services as needed
- Participation in special events.

Services must be provided by a Catholic Priest or other credentialed individuals. The contractor will report to the Director of Rehabilitation at the center and is expected to work approximately 8 hours per week plus additional hours for special circumstances such as funerals.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

The services will be performed at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center located at 102 Rivers Edge Road, New York, NY 10035.
