Re-stripe roadways on SUNY Old Westbury Campus including Apple Road N (1.5mi), Apple Road S (1.5mi), Woodlands/Spruce/Wenwood/Elm Road (1mi), Cherry Road (1mi), Academic village loop (.3mi), Campus center loop (.3mi). Including stop lines, merging lanes, directional arrows.

Apple Road N and S (Two lane) White Broken line, Yellow Center line, white Edge line

Woodlands/Spruce/Wenwood/Elm Road (single lane) = Double yellow, white Edge line

The State University of New York at SUNY Old Westbury will receive sealed bids for project number SOW04292025 titled Road Striping until 2 p.m. local time on May 20, 2025 at SUNY Old Westbury, Campus Center, H-311, 223 Store Hill Rd., Old Westbury, NY 11568, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by August 22, 2025.

Background
The State University of New York at SUNY Old Westbury is issuing a contract for the re-striping of roadways on its campus. The goal of this contract is to enhance safety and visibility on campus roads, which aligns with the university's mission to provide a safe and accessible environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for re-striping the following roadways on the SUNY Old Westbury Campus:
- Apple Road N (1.5 miles) - Two lanes with white broken lines, yellow center line, and white edge line.
- Apple Road S (1.5 miles) - Two lanes with white broken lines, yellow center line, and white edge line.
- Woodlands/Spruce/Wenwood/Elm Road (1 mile) - Single lane with double yellow lines and white edge line.
- Cherry Road (1 mile) - Must comply with standard roadway marking practices.
- Academic Village Loop (0.3 miles) - Must comply with standard roadway marking practices.
- Campus Center Loop (0.3 miles) - Must comply with standard roadway marking practices.
All work includes the application of stop lines, merging lanes, and directional arrows as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract work is to be completed by August 22, 2025.

The work will be performed on the SUNY Old Westbury campus located at 223 Store Hill Rd., Old Westbury, NY 11568.
