Board of Elections HVAC Piping Upgrade

Background
The Board of Elections HVAC Piping Upgrade project is issued by the Madison County Finance Department. The goal of this contract is to provide and install mechanical piping and modifications to the existing HVAC system, which is essential for maintaining a comfortable environment in the Board of Elections offices. This project aims to ensure that the HVAC system operates efficiently and meets current standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install mechanical piping extending from the basement Mechanical Room to the Board of Elections offices on level 1. The work includes:

- Ceiling access and reinstallation
- Wall chase access with patching and painting
- Installation of fire-rated penetration assemblies where applicable

All work must comply with the Provisions of the Contract, including Special and General Conditions, as well as Division 1 Specification Sections.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from June 10, 2025, to October 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 138 N Court Street, Wampsville, NY 13163.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation does not have a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside. Bidders must comply with New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing wage rates. A bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check for 5% of the bid amount is required. Contractors must also provide proof of OSHA 10 compliance for all workers employed on this project.
