Description

Ulster County is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in providing Audio-Visual (AV) equipment and services for a new Ulster County Government Operations Center in New Paltz, NY. The selected firm shall furnish, install, and program the Audio-Visual equipment and devices as designed and specified in order to provide the County with a complete turnkey multimedia system. The AV Contractor will also be responsible for training for County personnel.

Background
Ulster County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Audio-Visual (AV) equipment and services for a new Government Operations Center in New Paltz, NY. The selected firm will furnish, install, and program the AV equipment to create a complete turnkey multimedia system. The project includes a Public Service Answering Point (PSAP), an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), private offices, and a kitchenette.

The IP-based AV system will allow flexibility in sharing video content across various displays.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the installation and programming of AV systems as specified in the project documents. This includes coordinating with the Electrical Contractor for structured cabling and conduit installation.
