Background
The ACCES-VR Home Modification project is funded through ACCES-VR and is covered by Article 8 of New York State Labor Law. The NYS Education Department and Architect will approve the final layout of the modular aluminum ramp/guard system and stair to access the front door from the driveway, which must comply with the 2020 Residential Code of NYS. The project requires surveying the area to determine the most efficient route to access the front door from the driveway while disturbing the landscape as little as possible.
The successful bidder is required to adhere to the attached Prevailing Wage Schedule and all other applicable regulations of the Labor Law, including submitting a Certified Payroll with its invoice upon completion of the project.
Work Details
The scope of work includes designing and erecting a modular aluminum ramp/guard system to access the front door from the driveway, providing a stair and landing near the home, complying with the 2020 Residential Code of NYS, surveying the area, determining an efficient route with minimal landscape disturbance, removing earth as needed to install ramp, disposing of spoils off-site, installing tie downs if required, identifying any underground utilities prior to installation, providing a limited lifetime warranty on parts and a one-year warranty on labor, and removing any packaging and debris created during installation.

The contract term is for 1 year, with a due date for submission on 03/12/2024 at 3:00 PM.

The place of performance is at 33 Thorndale Road, Slingerlands, NY 12159. The contract covers all NYS counties.
