85724P0003-Security Guards and Related Services Citywide

Background
The NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is seeking qualified contractors to provide Uniformed Armed/Unarmed Security Guard services and Fire Safety Personnel to various Citywide Agencies across the five boroughs of New York City. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of city facilities through qualified personnel while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. Up to four borough-based requirements contracts will be awarded as a result of this Request for Proposals (RFP).

Work Details
Contractors will provide on-site armed and unarmed uniformed guard services, as well as fire safety personnel at various City facilities. Services may include:
- Pre-deployment training and ongoing training for security guards and fire safety personnel.
- Compliance monitoring programs to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Staffing for vacant or occupied City-owned, leased, or managed facilities, with potential service needs on a 24/7 basis.
- Provision of necessary labor, materials, and equipment for service delivery.
- Each contractor must be capable of supplying up to 170 armed/unarmed security guards and 25 fire safety personnel per class/geographic location per year.
- The contract includes four classes based on geographic locations: Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn/Staten Island.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contracts is five years from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an option for renewal for an additional three years. The contract start date is expected to be March 14, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
