Background
The City of New York, through the Department of Design and Construction (DDC), is seeking to engage up to twenty (20) qualified firms for engineering design and related services on a requirements basis for various infrastructure projects citywide. The goal is to provide timely and efficient engineering design, capital scope development, and related services necessary for the successful execution of these projects.
Work Details
The Consultant will provide a range of services including:
1. Preliminary Design Services
2. Topographic Survey Services
3. Final Design Services
4. Additional Professional Services
5. Capital Scope Development Services
Specific tasks include conducting field investigations, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, environmental assessments, preparing concept-level drawings, cost estimates, and coordinating with stakeholders. Deliverables must be approved by relevant regulatory agencies.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the date specified in the Notice of Contract Start Date and will remain in effect until January 2026, with potential extensions for up to one additional year.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various locations within the five boroughs of New York City.
