Background
The New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC), Division of Infrastructure, is seeking to establish up to twenty-eight requirements contracts for resident engineering inspection (REI) services. The goal is to ensure excellence in the design and construction of various infrastructure projects across the five boroughs of New York City.

The selected engineering firms will be responsible for providing comprehensive services necessary for project inspection, management, coordination, and administration from commencement through substantial completion, final acceptance, and project close-out.

Work Details
The selected firms will provide all necessary resident engineering inspection services as specified in Task Orders issued by the Commissioner. Services include:
- Inspection of construction projects
- Management and coordination of project activities
- Administration of project documentation and compliance
- Support from project commencement through to final acceptance and close-out.

Three categories of contracts are being solicited based on the number of full-time staff employed by proposers:
1. Type S: For firms with 1 to 25 full-time staff, with an estimated REI Staffing Amount of $1,250,000 or less per project.
2. Type M: For firms with 26 to 249 full-time staff, with an estimated REI Staffing Amount greater than $1,250,000 but less than $1,900,000 per project.
3. Type L: For firms with 250 or more full-time staff, with an estimated REI Staffing Amount of $1,900,000 or more per project.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on the date set forth in the Notice of Contract Start Date and shall remain in effect for a period of 1,460 consecutive calendar days (ccds).

The Commissioner may renew the contract for an additional 365 ccds at their discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various infrastructure projects located in any of the five boroughs of New York City.
