Background
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB, or NYS small business contractors to provide interior and exterior painting services for the Sunmount DDSO facility located at 3 Sports Ave Norwood, NY 13668. The contract is limited to New York State Small Businesses certified pursuant to Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law - Empire State Development Corporation Certified Minority or Woman Owned business (MWBE) or New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) only. The contract term is for 1 year and the due date for proposals is 05/28/2024 at 3:00 PM. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 5/14/24, and the work is to be performed within 30 days of award.

Work Details
The scope of work includes preparing the interior and exterior of the house and outbuildings by scraping loose paint, making necessary repairs, and applying primer and two coats of paint. The contractor must also clean the site daily, schedule a quality control inspection upon completion, and adhere to OSHA standards.
Additionally, the contractor must provide all non-painting materials, labor, disposal fees, and site clean-up.
The work is to be done between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.
The contractor must also adhere to specific safety requirements and provide necessary insurance.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is for 1 year from the date of award, with a mandatory site visit scheduled for May 14, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Sunmount DDSO facility located at 3 Sports Ave Norwood, NY 13668.
