25/26-080 Auto Body Supplies

Background
The Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of auto body supplies. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary materials for educational and operational purposes within the agency's mission to support local educational institutions.

Work Details
The contract includes a wide range of auto body supplies, including but not limited to: adhesives, body tools, epoxy products, sandpaper, respirators, paint suits, masking paper, and various other automotive repair materials. Specific items include:

- Adhesive cement for vinyl trim #8065
- Auto body hammer handles
- 3M products such as hook-it sanding boards and various grades of sandpaper (e.g., 1000 grit, 2000 grit)
- Paint suits in various sizes (Medium, Large, 2XL, 3XL)
- Respirators (3M N95 and dual cartridge types)
- Plastic sheeting and masking paper with chemical coatings
- Various types of welding supplies and tools.

Each item has specified quantities and units of measure that must be adhered to in bids.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue until all items are delivered or until the end date specified in the contract terms.

Place of Performance
Delivery locations will be as indicated on purchase orders issued as a result of the award of this bid. The primary location is within Nassau County, New York.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including adherence to manufacturer's warranties where applicable. Bidders are also required to submit price lists that accompany their bids. No additional charges for hazardous package shipment will be allowed.
