25/26-039 Furniture: Classroom & Office

Background
The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County is issuing this bid for classroom and office furniture to establish a price basis for immediate purchases by Nassau BOCES and its member organizations.

The goal is to provide quality furniture solutions that meet the needs of educational institutions in Nassau County. This contract aims to facilitate the procurement process for various school and classroom furniture lines during the current school year.

Work Details
Bidders are required to provide a discount from the manufacturer's most recent published list price for specified product lines.

The bid excludes certain types of seating, including outdoor stadium seating, indoor gymnasium seating, and any products requiring installation beyond basic setup. Bidders must submit current manufacturer's certifications and price lists prior to or with their bid submissions. All items must conform to specifications as originally written or accepted when an equal is offered. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing copies of current price books or catalogs upon request.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for an initial period not exceeding one year from the date of award, with potential extensions for two additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.

The geographic location for performance includes Nassau County, New York, specifically at the facilities of Nassau BOCES and participating school districts.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized representatives of the product lines they wish to submit bids upon and provide evidence of such authorization.
