2026 Spring Valley & New Square System Rehabilitation

Scope of Work Requested:
The Rockland County Sewer District #1 is seeking a contractor to undertake the following tasks for the 2026 Spring Valley & New Square System Rehabilitation project:

• Complete full replacement of one (1) segment of sanitary sewer main, totaling approximately 364 linear feet of sewer pipe, to restore it to satisfactory operating condition at Marman Place in the Village of Spring Valley.
• Reconstruct house service connections, including the installation of 6 diameter Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) lateral pipe with a clean out for future maintenance.
• Test the new gravity sewer line to ensure proper function and compliance.
• Perform full Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining repair of one (1) segment of sanitary sewer main at Taft Lane in the Village of New Square.
• Carry out miscellaneous additional work as required by the project.

This solicitation is issued by the Rockland County Sewer District #1.

Background:
The contract is for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer systems in the Village of Spring Valley and the Village of New Square. The project aims to restore and improve the condition and reliability of the sewer infrastructure in these areas.

Contract Requirements:
The contractor must complete all work within One Hundred Ten (110) consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Timely completion is essential for this contract.
