2026 MTA All Agency Pest Control

Work Requested:
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking bids for the provision of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services across five of its agencies:

• NYCT Subways
• MTABC/Department of Buses
• Long Island Rail Road (LIRRDD)
• Metro-North Railroad (MNCRR)
• Bridges and Tunnels (BRTUN)

This contract requires a unified, performance-driven approach to pest control, tailored to the unique operational environments of each agency, including underground transit systems, extensive rail networks, and bridge and tunnel infrastructure. The goal is to ensure consistent, compliant, and responsive pest management services throughout all MTA agencies.

Background:
The MTA agencies involved operate in diverse environments but share a common need for high-quality pest control. Over the past three years, similar goods or services have been sourced from out-of-state or foreign vendors. However, no business enterprise has been awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.

• Estimated Contract Range: $10M - $50M
• Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Goal: 15%
• Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Goal: 15%
