2026 Catch Basin Cleaning Services

Background
The Village of Pelham Manor, located in Westchester County, New York, is seeking proposals for Catch Basin Cleaning Services. The primary goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the village's catch basins, which are essential for effective stormwater management and public safety.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for cleaning all 365 catch basins within the Village of Pelham Manor. Each catch basin must be thoroughly cleaned using a vacuum truck, and the interiors must also be pressure washed. The work must comply with all Federal, State, County, and Local regulations regarding waste disposal. An option for a second year of service in 2027 may be offered at the Village’s discretion.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by September 4, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout the Village of Pelham Manor, Westchester County, New York.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of five years’ experience in similar work and provide proof of having the appropriate Westchester County Haulers License. All proposals must adhere to prevailing wage rates as per New York State labor laws. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability with specific coverage limits and naming the Village as an additional insured.
