2025 Water & Wastewater Treatment Chemical Contract

Background
The Dutchess County Water & Wastewater Authority is seeking bids for the procurement of Water and Wastewater Treatment Chemicals for the year 2025.
The Authority's mission includes ensuring safe and efficient water treatment services in Dutchess County, NY.
This contract aims to secure necessary chemicals that comply with various regulatory standards to support the Authority's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide water and wastewater treatment chemicals, including but not limited to:
1. Sodium Hypochlorite (12-1/2-15% strength) - approximately 14,350 gallons total across various locations, including Dalton Farms Water Treatment Plant (600 gallons in 40 drums), Dalton Farms Wastewater Treatment Plant (1,825 gallons in 144 carboys), Central Dutchess Water Transmission Line Pump Station (1,200 gallons in 80 drums), Birch Hill Water System (365 gallons in 40 carboys), and others.
2. Sodium Bisulfate - approximately 1,825 gallons in 15-gallon carboys at Dalton Farms Wastewater Treatment Plant.
3. Sodium Hydroxide - 720 gallons monthly in 15-gallon containers.
4. Aluminum Sulfate - approximately 260,000 pounds delivered in 4,000-gallon lots.
5. Liquid Chlorine - approximately 12,000 pounds in nine 150-pound containers.
6. Other chemicals include Sodium Tri-Polyphosphate, Copper Sulfate, Caustic Soda, Water Softener Salt, and more as detailed in the Scope of Services document.
All chemicals must meet ANSI/NSF Standards and be delivered to various DCWWA locations as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract period is for one year starting from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within Dutchess County, NY at various facilities operated by the Dutchess County Water & Wastewater Authority.
