Broome DDSOO (hereinafter OPWDD ) seeks a Treatment Provider who is a Psychiatrist or a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, providing on-site and telehealth (from the work location listed below) psychiatric care and consultative services for Individuals with developmental disabilities to provide eight (8) hours of Psychiatric Services every Monday, excluding NYS recognized holidays, for Individuals at the OPWDD Article 16 Clinic located at 119 Kemper Lane, Norwich, NY 13815 in Chenango County under the direction and supervision of the OPWDD and Article 16 Clinic Medical Director or their designee.
The caseload may vary depending upon a variety of factors such as service provider availability and incoming referrals received. OPWDD will provide the Treatment Provider with a schedule one week in advance. This schedule is subject to change due to emergency situations. Hours of service will be scheduled on Mondays during normal business hours, between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, or as mutually agreed upon between OPWDD and the Treatment Provider. OPWDD is not looking for temporary services. OPWDD is looking for a qualified treatment provider who can commit to the full term of the contract.
The Treatment Provider must be duly qualified and licensed to practice in the State of New York. Any contracted Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric services is to be an enrolled Medicaid/Medicare provider. The Treatment Provider must be experienced in providing Adult and Child Psychiatric Services and have at least one year of experience in serving people with developmental disabilities. The Treatment Provider must not be on any state or federal list of individuals prohibited from submitting a Medicaid Claim.
Bidders must submit with bid: the Treatment Provider's resume with experience, a reference list related to services previously provided to developmentally disabled individuals, professional license, picture I.D., and documentation verifying board certification or board eligibility.

Background
The New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is responsible for providing care, treatment, rehabilitation, education, training, and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
The Broome Developmental Disabilities State Operations Office serves several counties including Broome and Chenango. OPWDD seeks a qualified Treatment Provider to deliver psychiatric services at the Article 16 Clinic in Chenango County.
Work Details
The selected Treatment Provider must be a licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner capable of providing on-site and telehealth psychiatric care and consultative services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The contract requires the provider to deliver eight (8) hours of psychiatric services every Monday, excluding recognized holidays, during normal business hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Services will be provided under the supervision of the OPWDD and Article 16 Clinic Medical Director.
