New York State prevailing wages apply, and insurance requirements are to be met as per the State University of New York, Office of Capital Facilities, Guidance Document CLC-10, Insurance requirements & Review revised April 2024.

Background
Alfred State College is seeking a qualified contractor for the supply and installation of electrical specifications for an interior fit out of an existing building on Campus. The contract requires compliance with New York State prevailing wages and insurance requirements as per the State University of New York, Office of Capital Facilities, Guidance Document CLC-10, Insurance requirements & Review revised April 2024.

Work Details
The work includes the supply and installation of various electrical specifications. This encompasses disconnect/reconnect with the utility company, removal and disposal of electrical panels, feeder pipes and wire, provision of new 400A Eaton or Square D panel box, installation of receptacles, power poles for workstations, as well as lighting fixtures including LED fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light switches, bathroom exhaust fans, and re-feeding existing exterior fixtures. Additionally, the contractor is required to provide daily clean-up to dumpster (provided by others), as-built drawings, owner’s manuals, maintenance instructions, warranties at project completion, and identification of all electrical equipment with engraved tags.
