Background
The Fire Department of the City of New York is seeking to procure architectural and engineering services for various infrastructure upgrades, renovations, and rehabilitation projects across FDNY facilities in the five boroughs of New York City. The goal is to ensure high-quality design and support services that meet the department's operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services, including but not limited to: management and supervision of all required work from commencement through completion; design management; inspections; document filing; and related services for infrastructure upgrades, interior and exterior renovations, and rehabilitation projects.

Specific tasks include:
- Architectural Design
- Interior Design
- Engineering Design (general construction, heating, plumbing, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, mechanical systems)
- Construction Services
- Inspections
- Document preparation for regulatory approvals
- Preparation of construction documents in compliance with applicable laws
- Asbestos abatement planning and execution as needed
- Historical restoration work as required.

Additionally, the contractor must prepare pre-preliminary reports, preliminary designs, final designs, and construction documents that detail all aspects of the projects including cost estimates and timelines.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence upon issuance of a written Notice to Proceed and will last for five consecutive years unless terminated or amended.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various FDNY facilities throughout the City of New York.
