The work requested under this solicitation involves the installation of new flooring on the third level of the E.L. Wiegand Fitness Center. This is a prevailing wage project, and all work must comply with prevailing wage requirements. The solicitation is being issued by BCN Purchasing, which is part of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE). BCN Purchasing has transitioned to accepting only electronic bid documents for all solicitations, including ITB, RFP, RFQ, or CMAR. Hard copy bid documents will no longer be accepted. All submissions must be made electronically through the designated website. NSHE has also recently implemented a new payment system that requires all vendors to register in order to receive payments. Vendors must create an account through the NSHE Supplier Registration system at https://suppliers.nevada.edu/Membership/Secure/CreateUser.aspx. This registration is only required once. Vendors should confirm their registration status by searching for their company at https://suppliers.nevada.edu/FindSupplier.aspx. If the Supplier Status is anything other than 'Accepted,' additional steps are needed to complete registration. Once an ITB, RFP, RFQ, or CMAR is released, bidders may begin preparing and uploading their responses without submitting early. The NGEM system allows bidders to save their work, which should be used to ensure responses are complete and submitted before the solicitation closes. After the solicitation closes and responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders will be posted online for public viewing.
