UNR - Construct Cameras at All Residential Life Buildings

The work of this contract involves the installation of 32 security cameras at various locations throughout the residence halls, as part of a prevailing wage project. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring all cameras are installed according to the specified requirements, including the use of network cabling that matches UNR design standards (Belden or Commscope, depending on the location), and must provide certified test results per UNR OIT standards for any new cabling installed. The contractor must also be certified to work with and install Avigilon Camera systems and will need to coordinate with Residential Life to arrange controlled access to installation locations. Liquidated damages for late completion are set at $500 per day. The estimated cost range for the project is $75,000 to $175,000. Required insurance upon award includes Commercial General Liability and Business Automobile Liability coverage. The project is identified as UNR Project #26MNC03535 and Labor Commissioner #WA-2026-038; an SPWD Project number is not required. The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is the requesting entity for this contract.
