Description

This is a formal RFP request on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services/Division of Child and Family Services for System of Care Training. Please see the 'Attachments' tab for the RFP and Scope of Work (SOW) information.
Background
The Nevada State Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for System of Care Training in Evidence-Based Practices.

The mission of DCFS is to provide support and services to assist Nevada's children and families in reaching their full potential. This initiative is part of a four-year System of Care grant awarded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, aimed at enhancing the capacity and availability of evidence-based mental health services for children and youth with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). The goal is to train community providers to better serve this population, which includes individuals aged 0-21 with SED and IDD.

Work Details
The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for providing training and certification on evidence-based practices to community providers across Nevada. The training topics may include both clinical practices and non-clinical training tailored to the needs of the target population. Vendors can submit proposals for one or more training topics, with the possibility that contracts may be awarded for none, some, or all topics proposed. Period of Performance
The contract term is expected to last four years, subject to approval from the Board of Examiners.

Place of Performance
The training will be conducted across various locations in Nevada as determined by the needs of community providers.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered at nevadaepro.com to respond to this solicitation. They must hold a valid Nevada business license that matches their registration in nevadaepro.com. Additionally, vendors must have an active entity registration in sam.gov prior to contract award. The State also requires compliance with mandatory minimum requirements outlined in the solicitation, including specified insurance coverage.
