Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Hospital (SNAMHS) Water Treatment Service

Background
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Department of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH), Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (SNAMHS), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide water treatment services.

SNAMHS provides both inpatient and outpatient services for individuals in Southern Nevada, including a campus located at 6161 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, and the Rawson Neal Psychiatric Hospital at 1650 Community College Drive, Las Vegas, NV.

The goal of this contract is to ensure comprehensive water treatment services that prevent fouling on metal surfaces, control biological growth, and regularly test for Legionella bacteria.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive water treatment services which include:
- Prevention of fouling on metal surfaces;
- Control of biological and biofilm growth;
- Regular testing for Legionella bacteria;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

The scope of work will encompass all buildings within the SNAMHS campus and the Rawson Neal Psychiatric Hospital. The vendor must demonstrate technical expertise in water treatment chemistry and biological control, provide proof of relevant certifications for key personnel, detail technological capabilities, and outline quality assurance measures.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to have a term of four years, starting from an estimated start date of August 1, 2025, pending Board of Examiners’ approval.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services campus located at 6161 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, and the Rawson Neal Psychiatric Hospital located at 1650 Community College Drive, Las Vegas, NV.
