Work of the Contract:

The City of Reno is seeking proposals for the Paradise Park Parking Lot Improvements, Contract Number D100196. The scope of work includes:

• Removal and replacement of existing asphalt concrete parking lot and entrance pavements
• Associated grading and drainage improvements
• Earthwork
• Striping
• Flatwork
• Construction fencing and site protection
• All other incidental work as required by the plans and specifications at Teglia's Paradise Park Activity Center, 2745 Elementary Drive, Reno, NV
• A bid alternative for the removal and replacement of existing concrete flatwork and associated recreational benches, tables, and all other incidental work as required by the plans and specifications

Background on the Contract:

The project involves improvements to the parking lot and associated areas at Teglia's Paradise Park Activity Center. All work must be completed in strict conformity with the contract documents and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.

Contract Requirements:

All proposals must include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified. Minimum wage rates have been determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada and are set forth in the contract documents. In no case shall the wage rates be less than those prescribed therein. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and the prevailing wage rates as determined by the State of Nevada, the higher rate shall apply.
