OTAG Carpet Replacement

Background
The State of Nevada, Office of the Military is issuing this solicitation for the carpet replacement project at the Lawrence E Jacobsen Center (OTAG Building) located in Carson City, Nevada.

The goal of this contract is to replace approximately 10,000 square feet of carpet in various office spaces to maintain a functional and professional environment for military operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the carpet replacement project.

Specific tasks include:
- Removal and disposal of old carpet tiles without damaging the substrate floor.
- Removal of old cove base.
- Installation of new cove base and transition strips.
- Surface preparation for new carpet tiles.
- Installation of new carpet tiles (provided by the Office of the Military).
- Relocation or elevation of furniture as needed.
- Replacement of door stops or related hardware if removed.

The contractor must also provide a copy of their Contractors License and State Business License along with a contact person for service inquiries.

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to commence after the job walk on January 23, 2025, with specific timelines to be determined based on contractor proposals.
