OSSS Leadership Development

Background
The State of Nevada, Department of Education is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide leadership development and coaching services for the Office of Student and School Supports. The goal is to facilitate a leadership development plan and individual/team coaching aimed at improving communication and efficiency within the program office based on research-based practices. The contract will be administered by the Nevada Department of Education, with an expected term of four years, subject to Board of Examiners approval.

Work Details
The leadership development program must include:

1. One-on-one Coaching:
- Develop personalized coaching plans for each participant based on their specific needs, goals, and performance data.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions for consistent feedback and support.
- Focus on developing key leadership competencies such as communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and team building.
- Assist participants in identifying areas for improvement and strategies to enhance performance.
- Provide guidance on career development including goal setting and succession planning.

2. Monthly Small Team Meetings:
- Facilitate discussions on team dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Assist teams in setting clear measurable goals aligned with organizational objectives.

3. Quarterly All OSSS Team Meetings:
- Present progress reports highlighting key achievements and best practices sharing across teams.

4. Additional Deliverables:
- Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the program at its conclusion including participant satisfaction surveys and performance data analysis.
- Develop resources for ongoing leadership development within the Office of Student and School Supports including templates for work performance standards.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on February 6, 2025, following Board of Examiners approval, with a total duration of four years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Carson City, Nevada.
