The Nevada Division of State Parks is seeking proposals for an On Call Plumbing contract to provide plumbing repairs, pumping, and disposal services across various parks in the Lake Tahoe Region. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. On-call plumbing repairs, including gravity sewer, sewer force-main, and manhole cleaning (hydro-jetting and snaking) on lines between 2-8 inches in diameter.
2. Water main and valve repairs on lines between 1-8 inches in diameter.
3. Evaluation and repair of sewage lift station pumps and piping.
4. Pumping, cleaning, and disposal of sewage from multiple lift stations and wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) including:
- Sand Harbor (three 1,000-gallon lift stations)
- Sand Harbor Main Sewage Lift Station (8,000 gallons)
- Spooner Lake WWTP (6,000 gallons)
- Cave Rock Lift Station (2,000 gallons)
- Memorial Point Lift Station (3,000 gallons)
- Five Backcountry SSTs (1,000-gallon vaults)
- Van Sickle Bi-State Park SST (2,000 gallons)
- Hidden Beach SST (4,000 gallons)
- Pumping of sand traps at restroom buildings at Sand Harbor.
5. Delivery and servicing of portable toilets across various locations with specified quantities including:
- Sand Harbor: 24 standard units & 6 ADA accessible units
- Memorial Point: 3 standard units & 1 ADA unit
- Spooner Lake: 3 standard units & 1 ADA unit
- Cave Rock: 3 standard units & 1 ADA unit
- Special Events: 20 standard units & 5 ADA units.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three years starting from the estimated contract start date of June 10, 2025.
Place of Performance
All work will take place within the Lake Tahoe Nevada State Parks.
