Background
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is seeking proposals for the Cisco SmartNet Renewal for the period of November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026.
The goal of this contract is to ensure continued support and maintenance for Cisco products utilized by NSHE. This service is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and security within their network infrastructure.
Work Details
The contractor will provide a twelve (12) month Cisco Smart Net Service Agreement for Cisco products as specified in the Cost Proposal Worksheet.
The required service level is Smart Net Total Care 8X5xNext Business Day (SNT). Maintenance must be sourced directly from Cisco; no substitutions or third-party providers will be accepted.
Each line item in the proposal must include: the last date that Smart Net Service is available, unit costs, list prices, and any relevant notes.
Additionally, bidders must provide a customer service manager or account executive reachable during Pacific Time business hours to address post-award issues.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a one-year period from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various NSHE locations as specified in the Cost Proposal Worksheet.

Bidders must certify compliance with all bid requirements and confirm they are authorized by Cisco to supply the services.
A current SREG profile including insurance documentation and contact information is required. Proposals must be submitted electronically via NGEM by the specified deadline.
