IBM Hardware, Software, and Services

Background
The Nevada State Purchasing Division, representing multiple executive branch entities statewide, is seeking qualified vendors to provide IBM Hardware, Software, and Services. The goal of this contract is to support the State of Nevada's IBM products and platforms through consulting, implementation, migration support, and managed services. The contract will be administered by the State Purchasing Division and is expected to last for four years with an option for a two-year renewal.

Work Details
Vendors are required to provide solutions and support for IBM products including hardware, software, and maintenance services. Specific tasks include:

- Pre-sales and sales support for IBM products;
- Ongoing hardware and software support;
- Professional services such as IT Field Services;
- Migration services;
- Equipment refreshes;
- Customer service with defined Service Level Agreements (SLA);
- Training services; and
- Data analytics to ensure a 90% satisfaction rating in service metrics.

Vendors must also detail any IBM products they are not authorized to resell. The list of IBM products includes but is not limited to: IBM Cloud, IBM DS8000 series storage systems, IBM z mainframe systems, various IBM software solutions (e.g., Db2, WebSphere), and associated maintenance plans.

Period of Performance
The contract period is four years with an option to renew for an additional two years, starting from the estimated contract start date of October 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed statewide across various departments in Nevada that utilize IBM products.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered at nevadaepro.com and hold a valid Nevada business license. They should be certified as an IBM Platinum Partner or have the ability to purchase directly from IBM. Vendors must comply with mandatory minimum requirements including insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation. Additionally, vendors must disclose any subcontractors they intend to use.
