HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Repair

Background
The State of Nevada, Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.

The NDA's mission includes ensuring the proper functioning of HVAC systems at their facilities located in Sparks, Las Vegas, and Elko, Nevada. The goal of this contract is to maintain optimal operational efficiency and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventative maintenance and repair services for HVAC systems at NDA facilities. This includes one annual service and three periodic services per year, with a requirement for a quarterly service record that includes a checklist upon each completed service appointment.

All air filters will be changed with new MERV 13 filters in Las Vegas and Elko locations, and MERV 10 filters in Sparks. The contractor must use genuine factory parts for repairs per manufacturer specifications, with quotes provided for approval before additional services are performed. Documentation of work performed will be included in quarterly service reports along with oil analysis and repair recommendations.

Period of Performance
The contract term is expected to be four years, subject to Board of Examiners’ approval.

Services will be performed at NDA facilities located at:
- 405 S. 21st Street, Sparks, Nevada 89431
- 2300 E. St. Louis Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89104
- 4780 East Idaho St., Elko, Nevada 89801.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered at nevadaepro.com to respond to the solicitation. They must hold a state business license that matches their nevadaepro.com registration prior to contract execution.

Vendors must also have an active entity registration in sam.gov that matches their nevadaepro.com registration. Additionally, vendors are required to comply with mandatory minimum requirements outlined in the solicitation.
