The Nevada System of Higher Education, on behalf of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), is seeking proposals for grant and technical writing, review, and editing services. The goal of this contract is to enhance UNLV's capabilities in securing funding through expert writing and editing services for various grants.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1) Grant Writing Services:
- Opportunity Analysis: Review funding opportunities to ensure eligibility and strategic fit.
- Narrative Development: Create comprehensive grant narratives including needs assessments, project goals, methodologies, and evaluation plans.
- Budget Alignment: Collaborate with institutional staff to ensure narrative and budget consistency.
- Submission Compliance: Ensure all proposal components meet funder requirements.
2) Technical Writing Services:
- Drafting and finalizing technical documentation such as white papers and standard operating procedures.
- Translating complex information into accessible language for target audiences.
3) Grant Review, Editing and Proofing Services:
- Comprehensive review of draft proposals against specific criteria for clarity and persuasiveness.
- Substantive editing for flow and logical argumentation.
- Copyediting and proofreading for grammar, punctuation, and formatting compliance.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue until the completion of the required services as specified in the RFP or until March 19, 2026.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at UNLV's campus located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate experience in grant writing for public or higher education institutions. They must also provide a minimum of five client references from similar institutions. Proposers are encouraged to include minority-owned, women-owned, or disadvantaged business enterprises (MWDBE) as subcontractors.
