Food & Beverage and Retail Concessions

Work Requested:
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and experienced concessionaires to:

• Design
• Develop
• Manage
• Operate

food & beverage and retail concessions at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO).

The selected Respondents will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative concepts that:

• Enhance the passenger experience
• Reflect the unique character of the Reno-Tahoe region
• Support long-term revenue performance
• Promote sustainability
• Encourage brand diversity
• Foster small business participation

Concession opportunities are divided into multiple packages across food & beverage and retail categories. These are located in New Concourse A & B, the Terminal Connector, and select pre-security areas.

Who is Requesting:
This solicitation is issued by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA).

Background:
The RFP is prompted by the expiration of current concession agreements and the redevelopment of the Airport's concourses and terminal facilities as part of the MoreRNO capital program (see Section 2.2, MoreRNO Infrastructure Program).

Contract Requirements:

• Respondents may submit proposals for one or more concession packages, as detailed in Section 3, Description of Business Opportunities.
• RTAA prefers to award food & beverage and retail packages to multiple operators to foster competition and program diversity, but reserves the right to make awards as it deems in the Airport's best interest.
• If awarded, a Non-Exclusive Concession Lease (Agreement) will become effective upon approval by the RTAA Board of Trustees, signature by all required parties, and filing with the Director of Contracts & Procurement.
