Background
The State of Nevada, Department of Business and Industry, Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for legal courier services. The agency aims to enter into contracts with experienced courier services to meet the varied needs of its operations in the Reno/Carson City/Gardnerville/Minden area. The goal is to ensure timely and efficient delivery of legal documents and mail.

Work Details
The contractor will provide legal courier services that include:
- Twice daily pick-up and delivery at the Carson City office (one pick-up no later than 12:00 Noon and another between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.).
- The later afternoon pick-up will include drop-off of all outgoing mail to State Mail Services in Carson City and any documents for next-day delivery.
- Delivery and pick-up of court filings (District, Supreme, and Federal).
- Services of process.
- Special urgent deliveries as required.

Vendors must also provide details on their service regions, methods for ordering services (telephone or online), a copy of their Nevada State Business License, Certificate of Insurance, applicable city or county business license, contact information for service inquiries, a minimum of three references, company ownership details, length of time in business, and cost estimates.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence upon approval by the Board of Examiners for an initial period of two years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in the Reno/Carson City/Gardnerville/Minden area.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a copy of their Nevada State Business License, Certificate of Insurance, and applicable city or county business license. They are required to submit contact information for service inquiries, a minimum of three references, details on company ownership and length of time in business. Additionally, they must comply with insurance limits as specified in Attachment BB.
