Background
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division is seeking proposals for Auction Services to assist governmental entities in Nevada with the disposal of surplus property, including vehicles and heavy equipment. The goal is to facilitate revenue generation for these entities through effective auctioning processes. The contract will be administered by the State Purchasing Division and aims to provide a comprehensive solution for managing auctions statewide.

Work Details
The contractor will provide auction services on an as-needed basis for governmental entities in Nevada, focusing on vehicles, heavy equipment, and various surplus property. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting in-person, online, and hybrid auctions;
- Determining fair market value;
- Establishing sale prices;
- Advertising auctions with items valued at $1,000 or more;
- Maintaining active bidder lists;
- Providing storage for vehicles awaiting auction;
- Offering reconditioning services (washing, detailing, decommissioning);
- Reporting detailed sales information post-auction.

The contractor must also ensure compliance with all state laws regarding the sale of property.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is four years, subject to Board of Examiners approval, with options for two additional two-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed statewide in Nevada, specifically in major metropolitan areas such as Las Vegas and Reno.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered at nevadaepro.com and hold a valid Nevada business license. They must comply with all mandatory minimum requirements outlined in the solicitation, including having an active registration in sam.gov. Additionally, contractors must maintain insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation and agree to indemnification terms.
