3531S GVWS Transmission Pipelines

The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) is seeking qualified firms to submit bids for the installation of approximately 44,000 linear feet of 36-inch mortar lined, tape wrapped welded steel transmission pipeline. The scope of work also includes the installation of access manways, drains, air/vacuum release valves (AVARs), fiber optic conduits and pull boxes, and construction of an access road. Additional improvements at the existing SNWA Lamb 2350 Pumping Station will involve modifications to gates and walls, construction of an isolation valve vault, and installation of a hydropneumatic facility. All facilities constructed under this contract will be owned and maintained by SNWA. The work will begin at the Lamb 2350 Pumping Station, located near Lamb Blvd. and the Clark County 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway, and will continue east toward the future Apex 2330 Forebay and 2920 Pumping Station (to be constructed by others), as well as north toward the future 2920 Reservoir (to be constructed by others). The engineer's estimate for this project is $93,747,199.00.
