Supplemental - Nursing Services

Background
The Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) is seeking proposals for Supplemental Nursing Services to support the health and wellness of students within the district. The goal of this contract is to ensure that qualified nursing services are available to meet the needs of students and staff, thereby enhancing the overall educational environment. This RFP (#25-021 KLL) aims to establish a partnership with a company or companies that can provide these essential services.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing supplemental nursing services, which may include but are not limited to:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conducting health assessments and screenings for students.
- Providing first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health needs.
- Maintaining accurate health records and documentation in compliance with APS policies and state regulations.
- Participating in health education programs for students and staff.

The contract may involve working across multiple school sites within the Albuquerque Public Schools district.

Period of Performance
The contract will be established for a term of four (4) years, commencing upon award notification, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Albuquerque Public Schools district in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
