Software Support and Maintenance Services for Jail Management System

Background
Chaves County, located in Roswell, New Mexico, is seeking to procure software support, maintenance, and upgrades for its Jail Management System (JMS). The JMS is critical for the operations of the Chaves County Detention Center and is currently based on software developed by Beacon Software Solutions. The county has determined that Beacon Software Solutions is the only vendor capable of providing the necessary support and services.

Work Details
The contract includes 24/7 support, maintenance, and upgrades for the Jail Management System. Specific services provided will include:
1) Continuous software support;
2) Regular maintenance of the JMS;
3) Upgrades to ensure the system remains current;
4) Two on-site support visits annually;
5) Training for detention staff to effectively utilize and maintain the JMS system.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be approximately $42,000 annually.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Chaves County Detention Center in Roswell, New Mexico.
