Security Guard Services Levels 1 and 2, Citywide

Background
The City of Albuquerque is seeking bids for uniformed Security Guard Services Levels 1 and 2 to ensure the safety and security of its owned and maintained facilities citywide.
The goal is to establish a Service Agreement for these services, with the possibility of awarding multiple contracts if deemed beneficial for the City.

Work Details
The awarded contractor will provide Level 1 and Level 2 uniformed security guard services, which include but are not limited to:
- Guarding premises against trespassing, vandalism, theft, and disorderly conduct;
- Monitoring public access points;
- Conducting patrols;
- Reporting safety hazards;
- Providing assistance during special events;
- Ensuring compliance with facility rules;
- Maintaining a visible presence.

All security guards must possess valid licenses as per New Mexico regulations, including an Alcohol Server Permit for events serving alcohol. The contractor must also provide three commercial references from past work within the last 3-5 years. Security guards are prohibited from carrying personal weapons and must adhere to strict conduct standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one year from the date of award, with options to renew for up to three additional years, totaling a maximum contract term of four years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various facilities owned by the City of Albuquerque across the city.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a current business license issued by the State of New Mexico and provide proof of drug screening and background checks for all security personnel.
Bidders are required to submit a Pay Equity Reporting Form with their bid. Additionally, bidders must ensure that all employees can communicate effectively in English and meet specific physical requirements.
